Anyone is welcome to come along on Thursday night for this introductory session. Please feel free to bring along a friend and to spread the word. We want to make this fun and sociable, with a view to participating in some fun tournaments / matches during the season.

General Information

Touch rugby is one of the best social sports around, and a sport which will soon be taken up in West Lothian thanks to Linlithgow Rugby Club.

The Touch ethos is one of equality, where men and women train together, play together and socialise together, which is certainly unique amongst team sports! A great way to meet people, a great way to keep up fitness levels and a great sport to get involved in.

Our first open training session is scheduled for Thursday 1st October at 7pm so please feel free to come along. The first session is free and is open to men and women of 18 years or over – touch rugby is well suited to a wide age range.

We will train indoors on the 3G pitch at the Rugby Club, so please bring clean shoes. Please bring either astroturf or AG shoes, if you have them, however clean trainers will be fine for the first couple of weeks. After the session, we’ll have a brief chat in the bar to discuss plans and then an opportunity to socialise.
