Thanks and Good Luck to Helen
A big thanks to Helen Morrison who has been our Business Development Officer for the last 18 months. We wish her all the best as she moves on to a new role at The Helix, Falkirk. Helen has had a great impact in professionalising the clubs approach to business sponsorship. She has secured over 20 partnership agreements with local businesses that bring both cash and in-kind support across many areas of the club. Helen has also worked hard behind the scenes supporting our hard working team of members / volunteers on various aspects of club development.
Ken Richardson of Linlithgow Rugby Club stated, “The club thanks Helen for all her efforts. She has been the catalyst of change in a number of areas that are fundamental to the clubs long term sustainability. We are delighted with the partnerships and support she has established with local businesses.”
Peter Cook of Scottish Rugby highlighted that “Helen was the first Business Development Officer supported by Scottish Rugby’s Club Sustainability Fund. She has been instrumental in shaping the role as it was being rolled out across the country. We are delighted with the success and progress she has achieve at LRFC over the last year.”
Helen plans to continue to be around the club as a family member and volunteer. She will continue as Sponsorship Coordinator in a voluntary role, being first point of contact for the Club (email@example.com). Her son Jasper is a keen Wee Reds’ player and husband Ian coaches the P4’s. She is also inviting all her family and friends to the club to celebrate her and Ian’s 10th Wedding anniversary in May, making the most of her one free hire a year as a member of the club.
