The S1s turned in another excellent performance against good opposition when they defeated North Berwick High School on Saturday by 9 tries to 2, in a match that was closer than it sounds. This was only North Berwick’s second defeat of the season.

Linlithgow Academy S1 20 – 8 Watson’s College S1B
Saturday 10 October 2015
Another great all round display from the S1s against Watson’s who are probably the strongest rugby playing school in Scotland. Chris Miller, Robert Paton & Haydn McHarg made their debut for the S1’s in the 2nd half. The five tries from Ewan Curran, Callum Miller, Ross Wells, Alexander Dunlop and Kyle Haston were all converted by Nathaniel Cameron.
S1s Off to a Flier with Three Good Wins!
Linlithgow Academy S1 43 – 4 Boroughmuir HS S1
After a 36-0 win against St Columba’s and a 24-0 win against Knox Academy the Linlithgow Academy s1s responded with a 43-4 victory over Boroughmuir (with Boroughmuir only scoring in the last minute!)
The 11 tries came from Ewan Curran x 5, Callum Miller, Oliver Mole, Gregor Buist, Callum Evans, Alexander Dunlop and Ross Wells, with 10 Conversions from Nathaniel Cameron.
Great effort and endeavour from our debutants Darren Mitchell, Leo Hirter and try scorer Gregor Buist. Some great text book tackling from Callum Evans at full back and robust forward play from the front 5 made this a satisfying days play.
