Reds Run in 4 Tries in First Match

Lenzie 21 – 24 Linlithgow

Saturday 14 August 2021

The Reds travelled through to Lenzie on Saturday for their first match of the new season and first since March 2020. Although a pre-season game, in which both sides fielded a large number players, this turned out to be a thoroughly entertaining and competitive match, with the Reds running in 4 tries to Lenzie’s 3.

It was great to play again against Lenzie and we received an excellent welcome at Viewfield. We wish them all the best for their season and look forward to welcoming them to Mains Park in the not-too-distant future.

Here is a story of the match in photos by Graham Black:

Well done to all the squad – there were some excellent debuts and a lot of promise was shown, with several try scoring opportunities left out on the pitch.
