Wee Reds P6 Report

Lasswade, 29 October 2017

Well done to all the players and  parents/guardians  today at Lasswade. The players did extremely well.   It was a beautiful day for running rugby in Scotland in November and our teams played expansive, postive running rugby which was a joy to watch. Moreover, the pushing up to pressure the attacking team while  we were in defence was exactly what needs to be done and we nuetralised a much larger team by doing so. Indeed, one of Craig’s tries came about  by our pressuring Lasswade’s attackers into mistakes and then turning defence into attack of our own. Also on display across both Linlithgow  teams was desire and determination to work hard for each other and to dig deep.  In the first  game the Wee Reds replied from a sleepy start where they lost 3 tries in 4 minutes to come back and win by the end. Really proud of the passion, flair, grit and sportsmanship of the players today. Well done all.
