P3 at Home Tournament (Oct 16)

Wee Red Micros Enjoy Mini Tournament

Sunday 02 October 2016

P1 / P2 Report

The P1s and 2s gave a fine exhibition of the spirit of rugby as they welcomed visitors from Lenzie and Biggar to join us for training indoors. It was wonderful to see our kids include the visitors in everything from the very start, as well as bringing their customary energy and enthusiasm to their training session!

P3 Festival Report

Last Sunday saw our P3’s have their first tournament of the year and for some of our new recruits it was their first taste of the excitement of a festival of rugby. We were up against 5 good teams from Accies x2, Biggar, Gala, Watsonians and Forrester. Also, it was great how all the coaches home and away worked together to make the day so much fun for the kids. And while there are no winners or losers in a P3 festival, as a coaching group we were pleased with how the boys and girls did. All the kids went home happy with their medals and somewhat ketchup stained after enjoying a hot dog.

Concluding Remarks

Very well done to all our P3s who played so well in the tournament today. I had a wander round the pitches where they were playing and was really impressed with the skills, effort and attitude on show from the Linlithgow kids – well done!

So well done to all of our Micros for doing the club proud today!
