Film Opportunity

Calling All 18 to 25 Year Olds

Any Budding Film Stars?

I am contacting you on behalf of Encaptivate films. We are creating a documentary with the Raeburn Place Foundation about the first international Rugby Match that took place in Edinburgh in 1871 – and we need Rugby players to volunteer for filming!

We will be filming dramatic recreations of this Victorian Rugby match and it’s sure to be a fun day for all involved! Specifically we need volunteers that are male and around the ages of 18-25, to fulfil the role of players in the match. All those volunteering will get a screen credit in the final film, a ticket to a premiere screening at Raeburn Place and the chance to be part of this unique piece of rugby history.

There will be a practice day at Raeburn Place on the afternoon of Sunday 15th August, for volunteer players to spend a few hours learning how the game was played. The filming will take place in Edinburgh on Sunday 22nd August at Fettes College in Edinburgh. Volunteer players will need to be available for the whole of that day.
