It’s been a busy period for Linlithgow Rugby Youth teams, with a number of end of season matches and tournaments.
U18s on Tour
The u18s went on an end-of-season tour to Hinckley and Loughborough, winning one match and narrowly losing the other.
S1 Tour to Southport Tournament
Also on tour were the S1s, who travelled down to play in the Stockport Tournament over last weekend. By all accounts they had a great time, with many close matches and some excellent wins. The main thing though was the team spirit and camaraderie and the team won the “Fair Play” award at this big prestigious tournament.
S2s Win Cracking Match Against English Touring Team
The S2s, who had toured last season, were at home on Saturday against English opposition and in a thoroughly entertaining and evenly matched game, finished 26 -21 winners against Southwell u14s.
Youngest Micros Travel Through to Boroughmuir
On Sunday the Micros P1s and P2s travelled through to Boroughmuir in Edinburgh for their first taste of an away Tournament. They all had great fun and did themselves and the Club proud. (1 photo shows the P2 squad – 6 players and the other photo shows all the P1s and P2s that took part)
Wee Reds Do well Again at Livingston
Also on Sunday, the P3 Micros and the P4 to P7 Minis took part in the Livingston Tournament, where all age groups either finished first or second – well done to all. The photo shows the 2 teams at P4 level, one of which won the tournament with the other finishing runners up.
