Membership Renewal and Player Registration 2017-18

The Club membership renewal and player registration process takes place between late August and end of October at the start of each season.

Membership Rates for Season 2017-18

The Membership rates have been kept at the same level as last season.

For individual membership, there are two options for payment – a monthly rate paid over 12 months and a discounted single charge if paid up front in one lump sum.

This same approach will be offered to FAMILY members. Only FAMILY members will be entitled to discounted rates for second and third children.

Adult / senior players pay an annual membership fee and a separate match fee for each match they play. The annual membership fee and £3 from each match fee go to Club funds to help cover the cost of rugby operations. In addition, senior players pay monthly membership rates separately (for VAT reasons) to cover costs of gym membership. This amounts to £72pa.

Hardship cases are eligible for discount if approved by either the Director of Rugby or the Director of Youth Rugby.

  • 2020 Members have already paid the basic membership fee through to season 2019-20 as part of a one-off membership offer.  However, youth members (Mini and School age) of 2020 Family Members will be requested to pay the consolidated training fee of £60 each year, as this was not part of the original 2020 Membership Scheme.
  • Life Members are exempt from paying any additional basic membership fees.

Linlithgow Rugby Football Club’s prime purpose shall be the promotion of the practice, play and development of Rugby Football.  The Membership of the Club is open to all and no application for Membership of the Club shall be refused on other than reasonable grounds.  New members are always welcome and should contact Angela and complete the relevant form above.

Membership Renewal

This takes place annually from late August at the start of the new season.   Pre-printed registration and membership renewal forms will be available for all renewing members – see above.

You can pay by credit card (in person at the Club only), cash or cheque with the application form, or by telephone / internet banking (Royal Bank of Scotland, Sort Code 83-24-25; Account Number 00667109 – please put MEM followed by your name as the reference), or you can spread the cost over several months by standing order (access form from the link below). Please note that the account number has changed this year, as the Club is now a Company Limited by Guarantee.

Player Registration

In line with Scottish Rugby policies, all players at Linlithgow RFC are required to register as players. The club will register all new players with the SRU player registration system. Players already registered with other clubs can complete a transfer to Linlithgow RFC – again the club will initiate this.

The SRU player registration system provides a unique identification number for each player based on surname and date of birth.
